Sycros provides management solutions for heterogeneous and distributed Enterprise System environment. The solutions allow IT managers to monitor and manage Unix and Windows Servers, Applications, and Storage. Data from client servers is displayed on user-friendly GUI screen. When alarm is triggered at any of the servers, reponsible parties are automatically notified. In addition, guidance for timely resolution is provided. Sycros also offers tools for remote management. Then reports can be created for system analysis and strategic IT direction.

• System Monitoring

  System parameters, process, and log messages are monitored. The default parameters include CPU, Memory, File System and others. In addition, User-defined parameters can be added for customer specific monitoring. Process is being checked for activeness. Defined texts are searched in log message from any log files. When any of monitored parameter has abnormal value, then alert is raised.

• Application Monitoring

  Databases, utilities, and applicaton programs are monitored in depth. Currently available solutions are Oracle Database, MS SQL, MS Exchange Server, MS IIS, MS Cluster Service, ADS, Domino Notes, and Biz Talk.

• Event Management

  Alert ranges are defined for parameters, process, and log messages. The alert staes include Normal, Warning, Critical and Fatal. When an alert is raised, the event is triggered. IT managers are notified, and procedures for timely resolution is provided.

• Remote Management

  Files and patches are distributed to heterogeneous servers at remote site. Users can execute any executable files, and can manage remote servers with system commands.

• Backup Management

  Utility to backup and restore Sycros Repository database is available so that a user without database knowledge can operate Sycros independently.

• Report

  Past parameter values, log messages, and event messages may be selected for display and report generation. Flexible parameter selection allows to create user specific optimal reports for overview and direction.
